Christmas is Dawning

Through the window sills

Gusts of chilly wind

Wind up in my room

Giving me the chills of Xmas

New clothes, New clothes

New clothes in every mouth

As the spirit of giving would elope

Through the vices of tattered cloth

So they buy themselves new clothes

Expensive sets they store in cupboards

While the children of God all wet and dried

Look for Santa to leave them with presents.
