DESTINIES INTERSECT

 Everything is done and over

It’s time to part and partake

In separate ways

That hath our destiny

 

The events of life

And passage of time

What was once adorable and relieving

Now is the cause of all strife and suffering

 

Let what may come

And test our will

How we face them

Will define our character

 

It’s not a comma

For another meeting

I need not leave any trace

That result in self-disgrace
